EXOS Long Thumb Spica
Provides primary stabilization for the first metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint and first carpometacarpal (CMC) joints, as well as secondary support for the radiocarpal and radioulnar wrist joints. Provides stability for injuries to the base of the thumb at the CMC joint, such as Bennett’s or Rolando’s fractures, or to stabilize a painful CMC joint. Also useful for confirmed or suspected navicular (scaphoid) fractures, and for injuries or arthritis involving the trapezium or trapezoid bones of the wrist. Not made with natural rubber latex.
- The ability to thermoform and custom fit the Brace to the patient's extremity helps to ensure a comfortable fit.
- BOA® Fit System allows for quick adjustment in circumferential compression and can be locked in with BOA Locking Ring
- Trim or adjust the thumb section to allow better IP flexion.

Operating Lacing System
To Loosen:
- Lift hook-and-loop fastener tab.
- Pull open brace. (Figure 1)
To Close and Tighten:
- Pull hook-and-loop fastener tab to cinch lace.
Three Keys to Success with Exos
- Not Too Tight – Wear it Right and leave some “WIGGLE ROOM”
- If the brace and skin get wet, they “CAN’T STAY WET”
- Keep your “SKIN AND BRACE CLEAN AND DRY”
