Selina is a passionate Physiotherapist, dedicated to helping people move and feel better. She holds a Master’s in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and graduated with High Honours in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, where she also completed a minor in Psychology. Currently, she is completing her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science, focusing on mobility and aging.
Selina takes a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to treatment and has expanded her expertise through advanced training in Functional Range Systems— led by state-of-the-art doctors worldwide, to enhance mobility, joint health, and healing. With experience in both musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, Selina is skilled in treating and managing various conditions such as low back pain, sciatica, shoulder and hip conditions, knee and elbow injuries, arthritis, and TMJ (jaw) dysfunction. She is also certified in pelvic floor physiotherapy, offering care for concerns such as urinary incontinence and prolapse.
With a background in both physiotherapy and research, Selina strives to incorporate the best available evidence into her clinical practice to get to the root cause of your symptoms, optimizing mobility and joint health. Whether you're managing pain, recovering from injury, working towards a fitness goal, or hoping to prevent future injuries, Selina will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle.
When she’s not in the clinic, Selina enjoys multiple forms of art, whether its painting, pottery, or other DIY projects.
