Svety holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (the study of how humans move) from the University of Guelph, as well as a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, which she graduated with in 2014. Her philosophy as a clinician encompasses a holistic approach rather than treating the focal injury. Svety values educating her clients about their injuries with the goal of making them feel empowered to be an active and engaged participant in their rehabilitation. Along the way, Svety has taken numerous post-graduate certifications in dry needling and manual therapy. She has also gained clinical interests in treating injuries specific to the shoulders chronic tendinopathies, and running injuries. Outside of work Svety enjoys trail running, rock climbing and hiking with her dog Hans.
